Something Different, a duo composed of Gloucester natives Brad Sindle and his daughter Ashley Wenner, released a new album earlier this year, “The Cottage Recordings,” covering old favorites by the likes of Billy Joel, Elton John, The Carpenters, Fleetwood Mac, and others.
There are 15 easy-listening cover songs on the album consisting of just piano and vocals. One of the more popular selections, said Sindle, is a remake of Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” by Sara Bareilles.
The album is available for $20 on CD or thumb drive at two Gloucester outlets—Nuttall’s Store in Ware Neck and The Silver Box on Main Street. It is also available as an MP3 download for $15 at somethingdifferentduo.com.
Performing together for over a decade
