Family displaced

A Gloucester County family was displaced when fire tore through their mobile home located off Woodsville Road in Ordinary late Tuesday morning. According to Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad spokesperson Robert Parlett, the fire was contained to the front portion of the structure, but the rest of the home suffered heat and smoke damage. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Parlett said AVFRS responded with three engines, a medic unit, a rescue truck and 15 volunteers, who were on scene for about two hours.
