‘Fall into Art’

“Fall into Art,” an upcoming show at the Bay School‘s Art Speaks Gallery, will feature pottery, jewelry, wall art, gourds, baskets and three-dimensional art depicting autumn-inspired colors and themes. Eighteen local and regional artists will participate in the show, which runs Friday, Oct. 25 through Monday, Dec. 2. An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday in the gallery, located on Main Street in Mathews. Some of the artists will be present to discuss their work. Guests are invited to don costumes and have a photo taken in a photo booth featuring artwork created by one of the participating artists. “Pumpkinville” by Bob Carlson, above, will be on display beginning Friday in the Art Speaks Gallery’s “Fall into Art” exhibition at the Bay School Community Arts Center. ...
