The Fairfield Foundation will celebrate its March membership month with a “Tea at Timberneck” event from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, at Machicomoco State Park, Hayes. RSVP before March 9 to reserve your spot.

Members can RSVP by mail (Fairfield Foundation, P.O. Box 157, White Marsh, Va. 23183) or email (membership@fairfieldfoundation.org). Those who are not 2023 members yet can support Fairfield as a new or renewing member. Fairfield will reply with tickets in a confirmation email.

The program will include a presentation on tea drinking by Ladies Victorian, as well as a tea with savory and sweet treats. Tours of Timberneck House will be held to tell members about the progress of restoration efforts.

There will be plenty of period cups or plates, but attendees are encouraged to bring in their own special teacup and tell its story. Guests are also invited to wear Victorian attire.
