An exhibit titled “Gloucester’s Veterans” is being featured at the Gloucester Museum of History on Main Street. The exhibit recognizes the county’s World Wars I and II veterans and coincides with of the 75th anniversary of WWII and the 100th anniversary of WWI, a release said.

Other exhibits include “Antique Survey Equipment,” “The Old Country Store,” and “Civil War.”

Museum director Betty Jean Deal said recent donations have included: change holder used by pursers at the Gloucester Point/Yorktown Ferry; collection of travel maps that were on display in the ferry office; collection of old medicine bottles and other items which were sold in Selden Store, and an Avon collectible bottle of aftershave, all from Nancy Burke Heflin of Williamsburg.

Of the 244 March visitors, 150 came from Virginia, Deal said, along with 94 from eight other states.
