TOWN HALL: The Mathews County School Board will hold its Town Hall meeting at 6 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Oct. 24, in the Brooks Auditorium at Thomas Hunter Middle School.

SATURDAY

HOWL-A-PALOOZA: The annual Howl-A-Palooza and Main Street Trick-or-Treat will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in Mathews, beginning with a Goosebumps @ the Library Party at Mathews Memorial Library and continuing with the Main Street Trick-or-Treat Parade. Winners of the Jack-o’-Lantern contest will be announced at 2 p.m.

DONK’S: Donk’s Theater’s “Stars of Tomorrow” show, featuring young performers, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School. Tickets are $15 at the door.

MONDAY

MARKET DAYS: The Mathews Market Days Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

NEXT THURSDAY

VA250: The Mathews County VA250 Committee will meet at 3 p.m. next Thursday, Oct. 31, at Mathews Memorial Library.

SPOOKTACULAR: The Gloucester Library will have trick-or-treat for all ages from 5-7 p.m. next Thursday, Oct. 31, at 6920 Main Street at Main Street Center.

TRUNK OR TREAT: Two Mathews churches will have “Trunk-or-Treat events next Thursday, Oct. 31. Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church & LIFT Mathews will have their event from 5-7 p.m. at 4185 Buckley Hall Road, Cobbs Creek, while Mathews Baptist Church will have its Trunk-or-Treat from 5:30-7 p.m. at 8284 Buckley Hall Road, Hudgins.
