SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester County Social Services Board will meet at 7:30 this morning, Thursday, Oct. 19, in Social Services’ conference room.

EQUALIZATON: The Mathews County Board of Equalization will meet from 1-5 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 19, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

REPUBLICANS: The Gloucester County Republican Committee will meet tonight, Thursday, Oct. 19. at The IDK Raw Bar and Grill, 4329 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes. Doors open at 6 o’clock for socializing and dinner. The meeting starts at 7:15.

SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will hold a special called meeting at 6 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Oct. 19, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

HAUNTING: Mathews Memorial Library will present “The Haunting of the Hudgins House” at 7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Oct. 19, at the library on Main Street. It is free and open to the public.
