UTILITIES: The Gloucester Utilities Advisory Committee will meet at 7 o’clock tonight in the ECC Meeting Room, 7478 Justice Drive.


MUSEUM: The Mathews Maritime Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays through November. It is located at 482 Main Street, Mathews. For more information, call 804-725-4444 or visit

MASTER GARDENERS: Gloucester Master Gardeners will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Gloucester. The meeting is open to all. The topic is “The Nightshade Family: Tomato, Pepper, Eggplant and Potato.” There is no charge or registration.


SUPERVISORS: The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission will hold a joint meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the T.C. Walker Education Center cafeteria.


FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT: The Gloucester Floodplain Management Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at the Emergency Operations Center.
