EXCAVATION: The Fairfield Foundation will conduct a public archaeology dig from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh. The public is invited to participate alongside Fairfield staff.
OPEN STUDIO: Arts on Main will have an open studio from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the gallery on Main Street in Gloucester. It is free of charge; no reservations required.
CAR SHOW: The Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers will hold its Cruise In at 5 p.m. Friday at the Main Street Center parking lot, Gloucester. The weekly Cruise-In events are held every Friday night through the end of October.
HATCHERY TOURS: Oyster Seed Holdings will have tours of its hatchery and tastings of its product from 5-8 p.m. every other Friday from May 30 through Aug. 8 at 425 Callis Wharf Road, Grimstead.
