FAIRFIELD FRIDAY: Fairfield Friday will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Fairfield Plantation, 5777 Fairfield Lane, Hayes. There will be tours of the structure and nature trail and possible excavations to view.
ROSEWELL TOURS: Tours of the Rosewell Plantation ruins continue throughout the summer every Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and every Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. on Rosewell Plantation Road in Gloucester. Admission is free.
SATURDAY
PAINT MAIN: The Gloucester Arts Festival’s annual Paint Main contest will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on the lawn at The House of Ren on Main Street and at various sites along Main Street. SYMPHONY: Symphony Under the Stars, a free outdoor family concert by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at 6254 Main Street, Gloucester. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

LIBRARY BOARD: The Gloucester County Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 3 p.m. Monday at Gloucester Public Library, Main Street Center.

TUESDAY
COFFEE AND GAMES: Adults who like to color and play cards or board games are invited to join other adults for those activities at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gloucester Public Library Point Branch, 2354 York Crossing Drive, Hayes.
SCHOOL BOARD: The Gloucester County School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Thomas Calhoun Walker Center auditorium, 6099 T.C. Walker Road, Gloucester.

INVESTING: Carlos Britos will give his second financial seminar on “Rules of the Road for Investing Options” at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, at Gloucester Public Library, Main Street Center.
CIVIC LEAGUE: The West Mathews Community League will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the league building in Bohannon. Business will include planning for the league yard sale to be held June 27.
WETLANDS: The Gloucester Wetlands Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, in the colonial courthouse, 6504 Main Street, Gloucester. The same body will also sit that evening as the Chesapeake Bay Preservation and Erosion Commission.
