MICRO-TRIATHLON: Series #1 of four of a Micro-Triathlon will be held from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at Williams Wharf Landing in Mathews. Sponsored by the Mathews Outdoor Club, the race will include a 0.2 mile open water swim in the East River, an 8-mile bike circuit to Garden Creek and back, and a 2-mile run down Williams Wharf Road and back. COMMUNITY YARD SALE: The Mathews Community Yard Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at various locations in Mathews. Vendor fee is $10 per individual or group.
