THURSDAY CARNIVAL: The Gloucester Summer Kick-Off Carnival continues this week on the Old Page Grounds, 5644 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester. It will be open from 5-9 p.m. today and tomorrow and 2-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. LEADERSHIP SEMINAR: The NAACP Gloucester Branch will host a Pathways to Leadership seminar at 6 o’clock tonight, Thursday, June 25, at First United Baptist Church, 6188 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester. The topic will be the county’s legal functions, including the roles of the county attorney and the commonwealth’s attorney. FRIDAY CAR SHOW: The Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers will hold its Cruise-In at 5 p.m. Friday at the Main Street Center parking lot, Gloucester. The weekly Cruise-In events are held every Friday night through the end of October.
