UTILITIES: The Gloucester Utilities Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Social Services office.

MUSIC ON MAPLE: RapJack Band of Williamsburg will perform from 6-9:30 p.m. Friday at Thomas James Store, 44 Maple Avenue, Mathews. Tickets are $25 and include one complimentary beverage. Gumbeau’s Catering food truck and Gloucester Brewing Company will have food and drink available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Mathews County Visitor and Information Center and Mathews County Historical Society.
SATURDAY
TRIATHLON: The Mathews Micro Triathlon Series, sponsored by the Mathews Outdoor Club, will have an event from 8-11 a.m. Saturday at Williams Wharf, Mathews. There are options for a Micro Triathlon or a Sprint Triathlon. The open water swim is 2/10ths of a mile, the bike leg is eight miles, and the run portion is two miles.
