LI’L OLE OPRY: Donks Theater, Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry, will have a show at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. They will be available at the door.

DECK THE HALLS: Mathews Memorial Library will have its annual Deck the Halls Tree Trimming Party from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the library on Main Street. The public is invited to enjoy holiday music, seasonal refreshments, and a special visit from Santa Claus as they help decorate the library.
