BOOK MOBILE: The Mathews Memorial Library Youth Book Mobile will be at the following locations today, Thursday, Aug. 13: 10-10:30 a.m., Gwynn’s Island Civic League; 10:45-11:15 a.m., Bethel United Methodist Church; 11:30 a.m. to noon, Port Haywood Post Office.

YARD SALE: The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 75, Gloucester, will have a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 5849 George Washington Memorial Highway. Proceeds will benefit local veterans and the Girls State program.

SUPERVISORS: The Gloucester Board of Supervisors will hold a work session at 7 p.m. Monday in the T.C. Walker auditorium.
