SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester Social Services Board will meet via electronic means at 7:30 this morning.

SUPERVISORS: The Gloucester Board of Supervisors will hold a budget work session at 7 o’clock tonight in the Gloucester High School auditorium.

MCRC: The Mathews County Resources Council will meet today via Zoom, logging in at 9:05 a.m. Bonnie Scimone, Lead Community Specialist and Marketing Assistant with Virginia Navigator, will speak. In addition a review of the MCRC Bylaws will be discussed. MCRC is composed of agencies, organizations, agencies and faith-based groups in Mathews County. For details, call 804-210-9169.

DAR: Cricket Hill Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 2 p.m. Friday at the home of Becky Morgan. A program on “The History of Tea” will be presented by Virginia Lee. For more information, call Colanne Bunting at 804-725-3407 or Elizabeth Roane at 804-695-7612.
