ISLAND MUSEUM: The Gwynn’s Island Museum will open for the season at 1 p.m. Friday. Located at 1775 Old Ferry Road in Mathews, the museum will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October. It is free of charge.

SATURDAY

FARMERS’ MARKET: The Mathews Farmers’ Market opens for the season at 9 a.m. Saturday on the Mathews Court Green adjacent to Court Street. It is free of charge.

THOMAS JAMES STORE: The historic Thomas James Store opens for the season at 10 a.m. Saturday on Maple Avenue in downtown Mathews. It is free of charge.

TOMPKINS COTTAGE: The Tompkins Cottage Museum opens for the season at 10 a.m. Saturday on Brickbat Road in Mathews. It is free of charge.

SUNDAY

EASTER SERVICE: An outdoor Easter worship service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday on the riverfront pavilion at Williams Wharf Landing in Mathews. It is hosted by Relevant Church.
