Evelyn Louise Elks, 60, of Gloucester, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

“Bev,” as she was known to everyone, worked at Gloucester High School in the Life Skills class. She was passionate about her work and very dedicated to the students. She loved her family and supported them wholeheartedly and was a wonderful role model for them.

Bev is survived by her children, Jessica Elks, Megan Elks (Joseph), and Timothy Elks (Jess); and grandchildren, Liam and Faith.

A celebration of life conducted by the Rev. Arthur L. Wolz Jr. was held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Inurnment was private. The family received friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 5-6 o’clock at the funeral home.
