A funeral for Evangaline Juanita Burse Myers, 60, of Newport News, formerly of Gloucester, will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 15 at Morning Glory Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died Aug. 8, 2019.

Survivors include a daughter, Katina Myers Afocx of Suffolk; two brothers, Eddie Burse Jr. of Hampton and Earl Burse of Newport News; two sisters, Eunice Burse Jackson of Newport News, and the Rev. Janice Burse of Gloucester, and three grandchildren,

Viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to service.
