Ethel Mae Hudson, age 84 years, of Hayes, passed away peacefully March 14, 2017 in Kilmarnock.

She was the widow of Earl Hudson, and daughter of the late Lee Rosser Peterson Lewis Jr. and Margaret Carmean Lewis Brooks.

Ethel enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved music and singing. She was a dear friend to many. We will miss her greatly, but know she has found rest with our Lord.  

Her daughter, Emily Jane White, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Bruce White and Floyd Wayne White; daughters, Louann Brown, Valerie Wagner, Darlene McDowell, Violet Stouch and Vanessa Davis; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Thomas Bunting was at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Windsor Gardens Mausoleum and Cemetery, Dutton. The family received friends prior to the service on Saturday in the Mausoleum beginning at 1 o’clock.
