Ernest (Ernie) Walter Blockburger Sr., 77, of Gloucester, passed away on May 12, 2015 in Gloucester, Va. He was born on June 15, 1937 in Patterson, N.J.

Ernie was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Gormley, and is survived by his daughter Lori Middleton and sons, Ernie Blockburger Jr., James Blockburger and Robert Blockburger, as well as 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at Salem United Methodist Church, Gloucester, on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11 a.m.
