Ernest Davis West, 81, of Hayes, died at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022.

Ernest was born on July 2, 1941, to the late George David and Lillian Mae Jenkins West. Ernest worked as a waterman.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; children, Beth West, Tina West, Misty Garcia, Robert Lee West and Maryann West; brother, Raymond West; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service conducted by Pastor Jack Smith was held at Windsor Gardens Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14.

Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, was in charge.
