A memorial service for Eric H. Edgecomb, 51, of Port Haywood, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 in Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins. He died Dec. 21, 2020.

He was a native of Maine and a U.S. Army veteran. He spent his career as a civil servant, first for the U.S. Air Force, and then for the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Chantal Edgecomb; son, Wyatt Edgecomb; daughter, Seneca Edgecomb; his mother, Beverly Wellman, and sisters, Eli Edgecomb and Heather Wellman.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a donation to the GoFundMe account that has been set up to help his family at this difficult time.

Current state-mandated guidelines will apply to all in attendance, including social distancing and appropriate face coverings. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
