Bakers have until Tuesday to submit their entry forms for the Old Fashioned Cake Bake Contest sponsored by the Mathews Historical Museum. There is no entry fee.

Entries will be accepted and judged early on Saturday, June 19, when the museum at 200 Main Street, Mathews, will be open for hot dog and chili sales.

Any type of cake can be made; entry forms are found at www.mathewsvamuseum.org.

And in time for Father’s Day, cakes donated by contestants will be sold as the contest ends.
