Entries sought for Art in Transit competition

Entries are sought in the sixth annual Art in Transit competition, an opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity and have their work displayed on the side of a Bay Transit bus, according to a release from the RAL Art Center and Bay Transit. Artists aged 16 and older, both members and non-members of the RAL Art Center, are invited to participate in this one-of-a-kind exhibition. The competition is open to two-dimensional artwork only, and all pieces must be ready to hang with wire and D-rings; sawtooth hangers are not permitted. Artists are encouraged to adhere to a 3:2 width-to-height aspect ratio for their submissions, ensuring compatibility with the bus display. Artwork submissions will be accepted at the RAL Art Center, located at 19 N. Main Street, Kilmarnock, on April 25, 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to noon.
