Editor, Gazette Journal:

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the volunteers and staff of the Gloucester County Office of Elections and Voter Registration. These dedicated people have always been polite, knowledgeable and professional, and devoted to the work of safeguarding free and fair elections.

I am thankful for their continued work to uphold our Constitution and Amendments to the Constitution: the right to vote and to have our vote count.

Their work is ongoing this election year, with early primary voting for Congressional candidates starting on May 3, and continuing through June 15 at the registrar’s office; and for those who wish to vote at their precincts on June 18.

I appreciate everything they do for democracy.
