A new Pierce Enforcer pumper arrived last week at Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Equipment is being removed from the department’s 1989 pumper, new equipment added to the new pumper and graphics were applied to make it ready for service. The 1989 pumper will be retired from active service. The new pumper, named Engine 21, will respond from the Bena station.
