Emergency landing

A small aircraft made an emergency landing last Thursday at 5:19 p.m. in a field off the 3500 block of Providence Road in Gloucester. There were no injuries. Sgt. Michelle Anaya of the Virginia State Police said the pilot and co-pilot, identified as Anthony Roland Yen of Warden, Washington, and John M. Davis of Biscayne, Florida, were out of the aircraft when aid arrived. They were uninjured. The airplane, an Aero Aventura II, was sitting on its underbelly with damage to its landing gear.
