Embroidery shop relocates to White Marsh

A Hop, Skip and a Stitch, LLC, relocated in early September from York River Crossing Shopping Center to The Shops on Hickory Fork, White Marsh.

Owner Catherine Davis made the move to be more centrally located in Gloucester, but noted that she also gets a number of customers from elsewhere on the Middle Peninsula and from the Williamsburg area. She ran the business for three years at Hayes.

Davis, who runs the business full-time, said she specializes in embroidering T-shirts and other casual wear for men, women and children, as well as on cup-holders, scarves and other items. She offers embroidery both for items she sells and those that customers bring into the shop, which is located in the former Balloon Port Center on Hickory Fork Road near Route 17.

 

She also sells a lot of vinyl and wall decals, including the popular car decals which often show characters for each member of your human and pet family.
