Elmer Mitchell Jr., a native of West Virginia, age 85, died on March 22, 2020 at Walter Reed Convalescent Center, Gloucester.

Mr. Mitchell enjoyed riding his motorcycle and constructing model airplanes; however, his family was always first.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Bessie C. Mitchell; daughter, Robin Mitchell; son, Timothy Mitchell; step-children, Tina Sandlin, Shelia Morgan, Sandra Quiring, Samantha Stevens-Wilson, Daniel L. Stevens Jr.; brother, Darrell Mitchell; sisters, Gloria, Glenna, Brenda, Sherry; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and his faithful companion Angel.
