Ellen Blanche Johnson Richardson, 93, died peacefully Saturday, April 11, 2015, in Beaufort, S.C.

Born Sept. 19, 1921, and originally from King William, Va., she was the widow of William W. Richardson Jr.

Ellen is survived by sons W.W. Richardson III, and Carter (Nancy) Richardson; daughter, Barbara (Melvin) Pearson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mollie Gregory, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A family graveside service, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Douglas E. Nagel, will be held at Chelsea, King William, on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 11a.m.

Copeland Funeral Service, Beaufort, and Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va., are assisting the family with arrangements.
