A graveside service for Elizabeth Stokes of Reedville, was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rosewell Memorial Gardens, Ordinary. She died July 7, 2017.

She worked for many years in the District of Columbia government as a Recreation Therapist.  

Survivors include her children, Dennis N. and Allison B. Barksdale and Hillary Garner; brother, George Alexander; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brother, Robert Alexander.
