Beth went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1, 2024. She was 61 years old, born on January 28, 1963 in Hampton, Va., to Robert Wayne Raleigh and Glinnie Earl Williams who both preceded her in death. She worked at The Courthouse Restaurant in Gloucester among other restaurants throughout her life. She never met a stranger and had a smile that would light up a room. She leaves behind a daughter, Sara Shipley, and a son, Kent Beshears, and three grandchildren, Grace, Faith, and Junior McCurry. She had six siblings, Sherry, Bebe, Donna, Glenn, Dana, and Robbie, with multiple nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews who fondly called her Granny. She will be greatly missed by many. A memorial service was held at Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester on May 7, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., and a Celebration of Life will be held at Damon’s on May 18 at 2 p.m.
