Elizabeth Diggs Morgan of Diggs, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016.

Born on October 4, 1929, she was a lifelong resident of Mathews County. She was a devoted member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she faithfully served in many capacities over the years.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Morgan.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Fulcher and her husband Bud; son, Calvin Morgan and his wife Tater, and daughter, Vickie Callis and her husband Michael. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jennifer Mahr and husband Steve, Jacob Callis, Joseph Callis and D.J. Morgan; two great-grandsons, Ryan Mahr and Grayson Morgan, and her twin sister, Virginia Ball.

A funeral service was held in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home on Sunday, July 17, 2016, with burial in Pear Tree Cemetery.
