Eliza Nuttall Ottarson, 96, of Ware Neck, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Ware Neck and was the daughter of the late Luther and Edith Robins Nuttall and the widow of E.P. Ottarson Jr. 

She was a lifelong member of Beulah Baptist Church and was retired from Sanders Nursing Home as a CNA.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rudolph Nuttall and is survived by her children, E.P. Ottarson III (Susan), Donald M. Ottarson (Melinda), Esther M. Belvin (Milton), Patricia M. Gills, Wanda O. Hudgins, Robert N. Ottarson (Debbie), and Norman D. Ottarson; her brothers, W.T. Nuttall and Everett M. Nuttall; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Beulah Baptist Church by Rev. Tom Cohick. Burial was in the church cemetery. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of Beulah Baptist Church.
