A funeral for Eleanora Jean Hartman Hamilton, 77, of Hayes, was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. She died Feb. 11, 2018.

She retired from Eastern State Hospital as a nurse’s aide, and attended Achilles Friends Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Glen and Alice Writer, and her first husband.

Survivors include her husband, John Robert Hamilton Jr.; children, Joyce Kellum, Rodney Hartman, Randy Hartman, and Anita Gartner; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and five sisters and brothers.

The service was conducted by the Rev. John Downs. Inurnment was private.
