On Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, Edward L. Jenkins (Bubba Eddie/Suitcase) of Hayes, passed away at Riverside Regional Medical Center at the age of 59.

Eddie enjoyed sports, especially University of North Carolina basketball. He was a Little League coach in all sports. Eddie loved his family and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. and Marcella Green Jenkins.

Eddie will be forever remembered by his wife, Sherri Jenkins; children, Savannah Sundburg (Hank), T. J. Reinshagen, Ralph Love (Sarah), and Rebecca Higgins; grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah, Hank, Jayvan, Kadence, Scarlett and Annabelle; and sisters, Donna Haywood and Christie Jenkins.

A celebration of life conducted by the Rev. Richard Whiteheart will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at Union Baptist Church, 9254 Guinea Road, Hayes, Va. 23072. 

In memory of Eddie, donations may be given to Gloucester Youth Baseball, P.O. Box 2046, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
