Edward Carroll Johnson Jr., 74, of Moon, passed away on April 4, 2026.

He joined First Baptist Church, Mathews, at an early age and served as a Junior Usher and as an Usher.

He was a former employee of Robert Diggs Paving, Haywood Seafood, and most recently R&W Marine. He was a member of the Tri-County Hunt Club, King and Queen, for 52 years and a member of the Wheels United Motorcycle Club for over 40 years and served as the Road Captain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr. and Ellen Smith Johnson.

Survivors include his sisters, Ellen Carole, Gloria Diane and Lynn, and brother, Donald White.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 17, at First Baptist Church. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m.-noon on Saturday, April 18, at the church. A funeral will follow at noon.
