EDWARD BURROUGHS PRITCHETT SR.

Edward Burroughs Pritchett Sr. (Pop), age 76, of Mathews, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.

He was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church and retired in 1993 from N.N.S.B. & D.D. Co., X 18 Welders Dept., as a General Foreman after 33 years of service.

He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, and following his retirement he became a full-time waterman. Edward’s family will always be his love and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Evelyn Burroughs Pritchett, and a grandson, Richard Pritchett.

He is survived by his wife, Harlene H. Pritchett; sons, Eddie Pritchett and his wife Anita and Chris Pritchett and his wife Regina; a daughter, Pam Howlett and her husband Timmy; grandchildren, Ashleigh Pritchett and fiancé Edward Elliott, Samantha and Logan Howlett, Amanda and Tiffany Greene and Coleman Pritchett; first cousin, Marion Grey Trusch, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Annex Cemetery, Susan. The family received friends Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
