A funeral service for Edna Frances Wyatt Brooks will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died April 18, 2019.

She was a Gloucester native, member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church, and a Gloucester County Public School System retiree after 20 years of service as a custodian.

Survivors include three sons, Lionel Brooks Jr. of Columbia, Maryland, Marvin Brooks Sr. of Richmond, and Floyd Brooks of Buffalo, New York; siblings, Herbert Wyatt, Larry Wyatt, Anthony Wyatt, all of Gloucester; George Wyatt of Maryland, and Linda Wyatt of Newport News; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Howard Funeral Home, Ark. Mrs. Brooks will lie in repose from noon until service time on Saturday.
