Editorial: What makes you thankful?

Dear Readers: we invite you to tell us about the places, people, and interesting things of life that make you thankful.

In this world where it seems that everyone in the public eye has some kind of gripe, we actually know better: that our lives are wonderful in many aspects. Occasionally we are thankful for the good things that come our way.

We are following up here on a practice that has become an annual invitation. Please write to us short essays of 200-300 words about what makes you thankful. We will publish them in our Thanksgiving issue on Nov. 28.

The deadline to submit your essays is noon on Monday, Nov. 25, and we would like to have them much earlier than that in order to prepare a nice-looking page.
