Editorial: Update

Last week we reported that Del. Timothy V. Anderson of Virginia Beach had introduced a bill to stop for two years the harvest of menhaden in the Chesapeake Bay. By the time our paper was in the mail and on the newsstands, that bill was dead for this year, tabled by the Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources Committee.
