For the recovered health of a family member or friend? For a new job? For your parents, children, community? For the safe return of a service member from the war zone? For the companionship of a pet? The work of civic groups?

On Thanksgiving 2014, which falls this year on Thursday, Nov. 27, we will feature our readers’ letters of thanks on the editorial page. It seems appropriate on this truly American day to let the world know of our blessings.
