Young people leaving school for the year race from their classrooms to waiting cars and buses, in a burst of joy for the summer weeks ahead. And it gets better.
Of the many occasions that bring pure joy, one of the best experienced by young adults is the act of graduation.Mathews High School sent its Class of 2025 into the world on Saturday, May 31. Gloucester High follows with graduation this Saturday, June 7.
Many of them are already set with plans for jobs, more education, and other plans. Some of them may not yet know which road to take.
Graduates, the world does not demand an answer from you today, or tomorrow, or next week, about your future course. Enjoy the moment, be true to yourself, and the next road will reveal itself when the time is right.
