Editorial: Post offices past and present, A to Z

Many post offices have served the communities through the years. Most have disappeared, while some remain in service. Sometimes we wonder what might have happened if the post offices had been allowed to stay open. Would the country stores around them have survived? Would our sense of community and unity be stronger?
