It’s no secret that much of the legislative branch appears locked in partisan warfare, yesterday, today and forever, but … Beneath that appearance, real work is being done in Congressional offices, as staff members respond to constituents’ comments, complaints, and try to work out their knotty problems with federal agencies. If only the members could start to work together on measures that will benefit the nation, their image would improve.
