Editorial: Know your legislators

The Virginia General Assembly opened Wednesday. While the delegation representing Gloucester and Mathews counties remains the same as in recent years, change will be in the air in Richmond.

Democratic wins in November brought parity to the House of Delegates, and a new administration will be inaugurated Saturday. What will this year bring for Virginia?

Good citizens should keep an eye on Richmond, as bills of large import and small impact may well affect Gloucester and Mathews residents.
