Editorial: Know your county board

From backyard businesses to budgets, our local boards of supervisors will take care of county business in the year to come.

Gloucester County has five magisterial districts, each represented by one supervisor, and its board of supervisors also includes two members who serve the county at-large.

Do you know your supervisor? Do you know whom to call when a road needs work, a ditch needs cleaning, when something is going on in your neighborhood that could use county attention?

Here’s is our advice: call your supervisor. Gloucester’s board had no changes in the November 2015 election, so the faces may look familiar. For more information, visit the county’s website, www.gloucesterva.info.
