Editorial: Hodges for the House

In the race for the 98th district seat in the Virginia House of Delegates, Republican Keith Hodges has the qualifications that set him apart.

Despite his own claims of not being a politician to the contrary, it is precisely Hodges’s political skill and experience that make him the logical successor to Del. Harvey Morgan.

Through his work speaking out on behalf of the state’s pharmacists, Hodges has developed a working knowledge of the General Assembly, preparing him to represent the residents of Gloucester and Mathews counties from Day One. Although he has never held elective office, he has run a strong, positive campaign and convincingly won his party’s August primary against a tough field of qualified candidates.
