Editorial: Exercise this right

If you are a citizen of the United States, it is your supreme right to cast a ballot. This right is of the greatest importance to your status as a citizen, on a par with all of the other great rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution.
If you are concerned about the future of your governments—local, state and national—do your part: cast a ballot.
Whether you cast a ballot on the first day of early voting, or wait until Election Day to drink in the atmosphere of participatory democracy, please, we implore all of our readers, exercise your right to vote.
And there we stop, and give the bulk of this space to letters concerning next week’s day of decision, and for your opinions on other matters of public interest....
